Two stone-built character cottages cling to the 16th
Century farmhouse. Surrounded by sheep-filled fields, the cottages have spectacular views of the
Skirrid Mountain on one side, and a peaceful lake on the other.
There are two cottages:
Henty (meaning Old House) and Dan-y-berllan (House below the orchard) were
once part of the old farmhouse, and now offer extremely comfortable self-catering
Both cottages sleep 4.
Both are graded 4 star.
Wood burning stoves, with logs provided.
Washing machine, tumble dryer and telephone.
Cot and highchair on request.
The televisions also come with DVD players, and Wi-Fi is available.
Outside, table and benches are perfectly placed to enjoy the lakeside and mountain
views with a children's play area close at hand.
For lovers of real ale, The Crown Inn can be reached on foot, which is always good
news. The food is excellent too.
Guests are welcome to try their luck with the rod in the lake which is stocked with
carp and is a haven for wildlife
